    ?tab?April 1925: Late John G. Henderson. There passed away on Tuesday afternoon, April 21st, an old and highly respected resident of Torbolton Township in the person of Mr. John G. Henderson. He passed away at the home of his son-in-law, Mr. Alexander McOuatt. Deceased was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Henderson, his mother dying when he was born in March Township 75 years ago. In early boyhood he went to Fitzroy Township where he spent the greater part of his life. He was twice married, the first time to Eliza Baird, who died about 29 years ago. His second wife was Isabel Ellison who died five years ago last August. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Alex McOuatt of Woodlawn and Mrs. S. R. Boucher of Carp. The funeral is being held this morning to the Anglican church and cemetery, ninth line of Fitzroy, where the services will be conducted by the Rev. Mr. Richards.

Elizabeth (daughter of John Baird and Sarah Gourley) was born on 20 Aug 1839 in Kinburn, Fitzroy Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; died on 18 Aug 1895 in Kinburn, Fitzroy Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in 1895 in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Kinburn, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada.
