Beloved husband of the late Dianne; loving father of Michael (Melissa) Welch, Carl (Sarah) Gill and Shannon (Thomas) Swan; dearest grandfather of Michael, James, Shane, Anthony, Brennan and Nathan; dear brother of Fred (Kay) Welch, Chris (Marty) Welch, Jeff (Janice) Welch and Joann Snapp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mildred Welch, son Mark, daughter Jennifer and his brothers, Max and Terry. Funeral Service was Friday, 1 p.m., at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home (next to Michigan Memorial Park), 30895 Huron River Dr., Huron Twp., 734-783-2646. Visitation was Thursday, 1 to 9 p.m. Entombment at Michigan Memorial Park.
