DIED- Mr. Adam Saladen, of Pleasant Hill township, who has been sick for several weeks died Friday (31 Aug 1888) night at his late residence. He was well known in this city and county. His many fiends will be pained to learn of his death. His funeral took place this afternoon. (Red Cloud Chief, 7 Sep 1888, Front Page)
