    ?/b?An old-time resident of Bowron Lake, Kezia May McKitrick, passed away January 15 at G. R. Baker Memorial Hospital at the age of 93. At her death, Mrs. McKitrick was a resident of Duntovin Park Lodge, where she was better known as Nana. Born in Nanaimo on Feb. 4, 1893, Keia moved to Vancouver as a young girl where she lived with her family until marrying her husband in 1912. In 1935, the couple moved north to the Cariboo, where she and her husband purchased and operated the Bowron l ake l odge until 1959 when her husband died. After retiring in 1965, she spent her remaining years with her family between Riondel, Quesnel and Bowron Lake. McKitrick was an active member of St. Andrews United Church in Quesnel. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Olive Borslein; three sons - Harold of Vancouver and Roy and Arnold of Quesnel; and one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Gold of Riondel. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 28 greatgrandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Bob McPherson, was held Jan. 18. Cremation and burial at the Barkerville Cemetary followed.
