    THOMPSON, Vera Margaret (Chartered Member of Appleton Women's Institute) Peacefully at the home of her daughter, Myrtle and with her family at her side on Wednesday, December 8, 2004. Vera M. Argue of Almonte, age 90 years. Dearly loved wife for 68 years of the late Roy L. Thompson (September 9, 2004) and beloved mother of Phyllis Dack (Glen) and Myrtle McNeely (Allan) both of Almonte and Linda Thompson of Ottawa. Special grandma of 5 grandsons, David, Arthur and Timothy Dack and Phillip and Matthew McNeely. Predeceased by 2 sisters, Mrs. Inez Miller and Mrs. Jean Buck and 1/2 sister Belle Argue and 1/2 brother George Argue. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the C.R. GAMBLE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 127 Church Street, Almonte for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to Almonte Baptist Church for Service at 11 a.m. Rev. Paul Benson officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte. Donations in memory of Vera may be made to the Almonte Baptist Church and would be most appreciated by her family.
