    GILMOUR ? In hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Thursday, March 8th 1984. Margaret Rita Lang. Beloved wife of the late Charles B. Gilmour. Dear mother of Bill, Victoria, BC and Gerald, Petrolia, Ontario. Dear sister of Mabel Mrs Allan Houston); stepbrother Desmond Giles and stepsister Frances (Mrs George Laroucque), all of Almonte, Ontario. Also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. In her 73rd year. Friends called at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Saturday evening from 7-9 pm and Sunday from 2 -5 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral service in the Funeral Home on Monday at 1:30 pm, Rev Ed Smith officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery in the spring

    Mr. Matthew Lang died in the General Protestant hospital, Ottawa and the remains were brought to Almonte on the afternoon local at three o'clock today, Thursday. He was operated upon at the hospital here some time ago, but further surgical treatment being necessary he was taken to Ottawa, but nothing could be done to save his life. He was married and his wife and two small children survive him

    Mrs Orville W. Giles
    Funeral services for the late Mrs Orville W. Giles who passed away on Saturday, Sept. 18th, 1965, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital were held on Tuesday, Sept 21st, 1965, at St. Mary's Church for Requiem High Mass at 9 a.m. by Father French. Born in Corkery, she was the former Catherine McDonald, daughter of the late Hugh McDonald and his wife Margaret O'Connor. Besides her husband, she had left to mourn, one son, Desmond, a daughter, Frances (Mrs George Larocque); also by a previous marriage to the late Matthew Lang, two daughters, Mabel (Mrs Alan Houston) and Margaret (Mrs Charles Gilmour); also one brother Alex McDonald of Quyon, Que., and two sisters, Margaret and Anna of Fort Erie, Ont.; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Three brothers John, Hugh and Leo, are deceased. The pallbearers were Ernie Halliday of Carleton Place, Bert Simpson, Alex Spinks, James Majaury, Lloyd Giles and Andrew Meehan. Burial was in the Auld Kirk. Testifying to high esteem, among the beautiful floral offerings were those from the C.P.R., Almonte Dairy Products, Almonte Dairy Products Employees' Club, I.G.A. staff, Grenville Castings Ltd., Merrickville, Ont., and Stedman staff.
