    (Special) -At St. Andrew's Presbyterian church manse. Moffatt street, this afternoon, the minister. Rev. James Foot, officiated at the marriage of Miss Margery Kathleen Drummond. only daughter of Mr. and Mrs J. R. Drummond. and Mr. James Edgar Drynan, -all of Carleton Place, and son of Mr. W. J. Drynan and the late Mrs. Drynan, of Clayton.
    The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Drummond, brother and sister-in-law of the bride.
    The young bride wore a smart street length two-piece dress of navy blue crepe buttoned down the back with white trim, square neckline, bracelet length sleeves and full skirt. She wore a navy blue hat with accessories in matching tone and her corsage was of Briar-cliffe roses and fern.
    Mr. and Mrs. Drynan left im mediately following the ceremony on a motor trip to Montreal and other Eastern points, the bride travelling in her wedding costume with tweed coat.
    On their return they will take up residence in their new home on Beckwith street.

    The funeral of John Robert Drummond was held Friday afternoon from the Fleming Bros. Funeral Home, Lake Avenue West, where Rev. E. C. Kelloway conducted the service. Interment took place in Pine Grove Cemetery.
    Mr. Drummond died at his home, Miguel Street, May 3 in his 79th year. He was born in Goulburn Township, son of the late Malcolm Drummond and his wife, Elizabeth McEwan. He was yard foreman for many years with the Canadian Pacific Railway at Carleton Place.
    He was married in 1902 to the former Catherine McLinton who survives him. Other survivors are two sons, Gordon and Arthur, and a daughter, Mrs. J. E. Drynan, of Carleton Place.
