    Enid had two children by her first marriage to Earle Simpson., Willet and Vivian.
    Obituary-
    Enid Vivian (nee Preece) was born December 19, 1914 in Winnipeg, Manitoba and died July 27, 2003 in Victoria, B.C. She was predeceased by her husband, Maurice in 1985 and her sister, Mona (Witty) in 1985.
    Enid is survived by her daughter Vivian (Roy) Asham of Calgary; four sons; Willet (Mary) Simpson of California, Richard (Jackie) of Kenora, Thomas of Thunder Bay and Alan of Kenora; her sister Jean Ditmars of Victoria; 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
    Enid joined the Rebekah Lodge in Thunder bay, Ontario in 1938 and transferred to the Unity Lodge No. 145 after leaving Kenora., Ontario and taking up residence in Victoria, B.C. She received the declaration of Chivalry as a member of the ladies Auxiliary Patriarch Militant of the International Order of Odd fellows (IOOF). While a resident of Kenora, she was active in the Women's Institute and for many years taught sewing and cooking to girls in 4-H clubs.
    A celebration of Enid's life will be held at the First Memorial Funeral Chapel, Victoria, on Saturday, August 2, at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Thank you to Sunset Lodge staff and doctors; much loved sister, Jean, all nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Cathy, Kelly and aunt Jean for all their love and visits to mother.
    Flowers gratefully declined in favour of donations to the Heart and Strike Foundation of the Diabetes association.

    Enid married Earl Cleve Simpson on 25 Apr 1933 in Emerson, Manitoba, Canada. Earl (son of Willet "Irvin" Simpson and Ida Jane Scott) was born on 28 Sep 1912 in Dominion City, Steinbach Census Division, Manitoba, Canada; died on 12 Jun 1998 in Manitoba, Canada; was buried on 15 Jun 1998 in Dominion City Cemetery, Dominion City, Steinbach Census Division, , Manitoba, Canada.
