Suddenly in hospital at Carleton Place, Ontario, on Thursday, June 18, 1998. Robert Frank Robertson in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Mary Isobel Warren. Dear father of David (Colleen) of Carleton Place, Gail McDowell (Steve) of Kanata and Karen Robertson (Art) of Paris, Ontario. Loving grandfather of Krista, Nadine, Meghan, Liam and Aiden and great-grandfather of Jessie and Benjamin. Dear brother of Kenneth (Betty), Adeline Cowling (Jack) and Helen Trafford (Walter). Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Baker. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends will be received at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place, on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday at 2 p.m. Pastor Lorne Trimble officiating. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.
