    In hospital at Ottawa, Ontario, on Saturday, February 15, 1997, Edward L. Munro, in his 77th year. Son of the late Thomas Edward Munro Sr. and the late Lillian Elizabeth Hankin. Beloved husband of Jennie Robinson. Loving father of Wayne (Ruth) and Willis (Glenda), both of Carleton Place, Doral (Debbie) of Almonte and Terry (Debbie) of Ashton. Predeceased by his son, Sheldon. Special grampa of 13 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Survived by his brother, Willard of Smiths Falls. Predeceased by his sisters, Martha Craig and Nellie Munro and his brothers, Archie and Gordon. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Resting at the OR. Gamble Funeral Home, 127 Church Street, Almonte, Ontario, on Monday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12 noon until service in the chapel at 2:30 p.m., Rev. Ken Robinson officiating. Spring interment Clayton United Cemetery, Clayton, Ontario. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Legion Service on Monday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Dear wife to the late Edward. Survived by her children Toby Cassell (Faye), Wayne (Ruth), Willis (Glenda), Doral (Shannon), Terry (Debra), the late Sheldon as well as her daughter-in-law Debbie. Proud "Grandma" to 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Missed by her sister Vera Black and sister-in-law Beryl and predeceased by her brothers Willis and Bryson. Donations in memory of Jennie may be made to the Almonte Legion ? Branch 240. A special thank-you to the staff from the Med/Surg Unit of the Almonte General Hospital as well as the Rosamond Wing for their excellent care.
