BOWES, Vera M. Suddenly and peacefully at her home in Hopetown on Wednesday May 18 2005, Vera M (Brown) Bowes in her 91st year,wife of the late Charles Esdale Bowes, loved mother of Evelyn Bowes of Perth, Earl (Lorraine) of Cornwall, Ray (Lillian) and Dale (Catherine) of Perth. Cherished grandmother of Wayne Bowes, Carol Ann MacLellan, Haley Vollrath, Brandon Bowes, Lexi Reid, and Clint Bowes. Also survived by great grandchildren Dylan Bowes, Lauren Bowes, Lily Bowes-Reid, and Sydnee MacLellan. Friends may pay their respects at the Young Funeral Home Lanark from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral service will be held in the Hopetown United Church on Saturday May 21 at 1:30 p.m. Interment: Hopetown Cemetery. In remembrance donations to the Hopetown United Church or the Hopetown Cemetery Fund would be appreciated.
