    Dearest mother of Barbara (Donald VanNimwegen), Gordon (Carmen Cournoyer), Jane (Michael Ganim), and Jennifer Byers. Adored grandmother of Derrik, Michael, Kathryn, Kevin, Allan, Andrew, and Mark and great-grandmother of Sophia, Garret, Clyde, Margo, and Kate. Dearly loved sister of Mary (Duncan) Duclos of Hudson, QC and Edward (Isobelle) Winslow-Spragge of Almonte, ON. Survived and much loved by many nieces and nephews near and far.

    A Memorial Service in Celebration of Anne's long and remarkable life will be held at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Ottawa, on Saturday, June 4 at 2 p.m.

    ?/b?Funeral for Edward Winslcw. Spragee, OBE, former vice-president and general manager of Canadian Ingersoll-Rand Co. Ltd. who died at his home in Almonte, Ont., Sunday night, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today from St Paul's Anglican Church in Almonte. He was 66.
    Born in Montreal, the son of Edward Pelham Winslow, prominent in banking circles, and S. M. Alice Spragge, he was a direct descendant of Edward Winslow of the "Mayflower" company, and later governor of Massachusetts Bay colony, whose letters were published as the "Winslow Papers."
    Educated at Upper Canada College, Toronto, he was also a graduate in mechanical engineering from McGill University. He began his career with Robert W. Hunt and Co. but was associated with Canadian Ingersoll-Rand since 1909 in Toronto and Cobalt, Ont., and Sherbrooke and Montreal, Que.
    During the First World War he played an important part in munitions manufacture. Ill health during the Second World War forced his retirement from executive duties but he carried on as a director. He was called to Ottawa in 1943 as special negotiator for the financial advisor to the Munitions and Supply Department.
    For years he was an active member of Christ Church Cathedral here, a life governor of the Montreal General Hospital and a member of the Engineering Institute of Canada, and the Canadian institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Prominent in the Canadian
    Manufacturers' Association, he accompanied the group on its tour of England in 1939.
    On his retirement to Almonte, he became prominent in comrrmnity and church affairs there.
    He is survived by his wile, the former Lois Sybil Harrington, Almonte; a son, John (Edward), Montreal; four daughters. Mrs. Gustave Simons, Connecticut, , and Mrs. Donald Byers. Mrs. Frank Cobbett, and Mrs. Duncan Duclos, all Montreal; and three brothers, Kenelm, Montreal Terence, Perth, Ont., and Hugh, in Florida.
    Burial will be in Almonte.

Dear mother of Alice (Mrs. Gustave Simons), Edward Harrington and his wife Isobelle, Anne (Mrs. Donald N. Byers), Ruth (Mrs. Frank D. Cobbett), Mary (Mrs. C. Duncan Duclos). Also survived by her sister, Eva (Mrs. E.N. Mercer), 17 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Resting at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin St., Almonte. Visiting 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday and proceeding on Saturday at noon to St. Paul's Anglican Church. Service at 2 p.m. Rev. Harry Brown officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

    Mrs Alice Winslow. widow of E. P. Winslow of Montreal, died yesterday at the home of her son. E S. Winslow-Spragge, Almonte, Ont. She was 93.
    Mr. Winslow was the daughter of William Spragge. deputy minister of Indian affairs at the time of Canadian Confederation, and Martha Ann Molson of Montreal. She had lived In Montreal prior to moving to her son's home less than a year ago. Mrs. Winslow was married in Christ Church Cathedral in 1884. Her husband, a member of the staff of the Bank of Montreal travelled extensively In Canada and Mrs. Winslow made numerous friends In many cities and towns.
    Survivors Include four sons. E. S. Winslow-Spragge of Almonte and Montreal. Hugh Winslow of Ste. Agathe des Monts. Kenelm M. Winslow of Montreal and Terence H. Winslow of Perth, Ont., a daughter. Mrs. A. S. Duguid of Ottawa. 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grand-chlldren.
