    W.G. Chamberlain Billings Bridge, Dies
    William Gourlay Chamberlain, of Billings Bridge, died in an Ottawa hospital following a long illness. He was 73. Born in Westmeath, Ont., he was a son of Noah J. Chamberlain and Isabella Gourley. In 1908, he married Gertrude Donnelly, who died in 1933. He had resided in the Ottawa district for the past 30 years, working as a stationary engineer until his retirement. He attended Bethel Pentecostal Tabernacle. He is survived by three sons, Roy of Sudbury, Harrison and Herbert, both of Ottawa; four daughters, Mrs Wilfred St. Jean (Ida), Mrs Herbert McGee (Rita), Mrs Vernon McGee (Audrey), and Mrs George Benson (Muriel), all of Ottawa; one brother, Joseph, of Eastview; two sisters, Mrs Harold Letts and Mrs Arthur Letts, both of Ottawa; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Rev Howard Kerr will conduct the funeral service Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Fred N. Garrett funeral home. Interment will be in the Auld Kirk cemetery, Almonte .

    William married Gertrude Donnelly in 1910. Gertrude was born on 15 Aug 1884 in Lanark Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 15 Feb 1933 in Ottawa, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.     Mrs W.G. Chamberlain
    The death occurred in the hospital at Ottawa following an illness of about a weeks' duration, of Gertrude Donnelly, wife of W.G. Chamberlain, 163 Arthur Street, Ottawa. Mrs Chamberlain was 59 years of age. She was a daughter of the late James Donnelly and Mrs Donnelly, formerly of Carleton Place and Beckwith, and had been a resident of the city for about ten years. Besides her mother and husband she leaves three sons, Harrison, Herbert and Roy, and five daughters, Ida, Reta, Irene, Audrey and Muriel, all of Ottawa. She also leaves two brothers and two sisters. The funeral was held from her late residence on Saturday afternoon to the Auld Kirk cemetery at Almonte.
