She received her education in Carleton Place and was married in Carleton Place to Mr. Harold Julian, who survives, and, with the exception of a few years spent in Almonte, she had resided in Carleton Place all her life time. The late Mrs. Julian was one of the town's best known young ladies and possessed many fine qualities which endeared her to a wide circle of friends who learned with deep regret of her early passing. Kindly in her attitude to all, she never judged harshly and very often went out of her way to render assistance where needed. She was a good neighbour and a devoted and loving mother and it is in this sphere she will be most missed. Deeply interested in the affairs of the town, she was always willing to assist with any good work which might be of some benefit. She was a member of the Ladies' Auxiliary of the local branch of the Canadian Legion and of the Legion Ladies Bowling Club. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place on Sunday afternoon from the Allan Barker funeral home, McArthur Ave., to Zion United Church where the service was conducted by the minister, Rev. N. T. Holmes. Interment was made in Pine Grove Cemetery. The pallbearers were Messrs. Allan Bradford, Harold Bradford, Morley Whalen, George Julian, Eric Julian and Bert Julian.
