    Another Old Settler at Rest
Again it becomes our duty to chronicle the demise of one of the hardy pioneers of this section - one who had his share of hardships incident to the vicissitudinary period in which this county was first settled - in the person of Mr Robert Duncan, of Ramsay, who passed away on Tuesday morning last, in his 86th year. His death was sudden, He arose as ussual, ate a hearty breakfast and died half an hour later, from heart failure it is suposed. For the last eight or ten years Mr Duncan had been subject to occasional weak spells; prior to that time he always enjoyed vigorous health. Deceased was born in Paisley, Scotland in January 1808.
