    Died:
    Hezekiah Stewart Flinn passed away Wednesday, April 26, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Hobbs, east of Innisfail, at the age of 85 years. Born at Smith Falls, Ontario, Mr. Flinn came to the district 36 years ago and has resided around Wimborne and Innisfail ever since. Surviving are three daughters, Margaret Smith of Rossland, B.C.; Sarah Hobbs of Innisfail, and Celesta Hicks of Dapp, Alta.; three sons, William of Calgary, and John and Edward of Knee Hill Valley; also twenty-two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were held on Friday, April 28, at 2:45 p.m. from the Mayton Hall, with Rev. A.D. Currie officiating. Burial took place in the family plot at the Mayton cemetery.

    2. Family information is that the outcome of a dispute about a political issue accounts for

    the difference in the spelling of the surname Codd in Canada. Thomas Sr., and his son

    Richard selected "Coad", George, Thomas, Abraham, and James decided on "Code".
