    Died:
    George Willson was born in Leitrim, Ireland approx 1799-1801. He first married Alice Cassidy approx 1818 in Ireland. Alice's exact birth and death is unknown. They had 2 children, Mary Ann born approx. 1819 and Margaret born Approx. 1821 in Cavan Ireland. Then they immigrated in April 1822 to Quebec, having another daughter, Maria M. while at Sea. Shortly after, they moved to Ontario and had 2 boys: John born 1825 in Pakenham, and Richard C. born 1827 in Perth. George was a Farmer. Family stories say that Alice died approx 1833 in Ontario or Quebec (which was across the river). George was married second to Elizabeth McCue (1819-1892) and had 9 children with her: Aphia Agnuita (1847-1926), Amicus Humani Generi (1849-1920), Matilda (1850-1860)Frederick William (1853-1927), Joseph Salathiel (1856-1925), Augustus George (1857-1881), Robert Samuel (1859-1927), Cyrus Newton (1860-1929), and Mary Lavona Matilda Jane "Minnie" (1862-1944). George had a homestead in Fitzroy and raised all his children there. George died July 11, 1876 in Fitzroy, Carleton, Ontario.
