John Lucy (Lucier/Lussiers) is the son of Francis Xavier (Exebrus) and Delia Lussiers according to his marriage certificate. There were two Lucier families in 1861 in Cumberland. The families of Frances Lucier and Baptist Lucier appear next to each other in the census. Of note, Frances Lucier's wife was named Adelaide. These are John's parents. His brother John Baptiste Lucier born 8 Jun 1836, is FAG Memorial ID 115950159.

John Lucy married Ann Hannah, daughter of William Hannah and Margaret Morrison, in 1864 in Cumberland, Ontario. It appears that Ann may also go by the name Nancy. She is the sister of Eliza HANNAH Edwards (1850-1922) FAG #29962378 and Elizabeth HANNAH Robinson (1852-1918) #190381588, according to Eliza's obituary.

John married Nancy "Ann" Hannah on 22 Aug 1864 in Cumberland, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada. Nancy was born in 1845 in Ontario, Canada; died on 25 Mar 1922; was buried in Kinistino Cemetery, Kinistino, Prince Albert Census Division, Saskatchewan, Canada. [Group Sheet] [Family Chart]
