GARLAND, Thomas Butler September 1925 - April 2007 Butler Garland passed away on April 14th, 2007 at home with family by his side following a lengthy illness. Loving husband of Lois Paul. Dear father of Judy (Glenn St. Germain), Joan, Nancy (Bill Bowden), and Tim. Cherished Grandpa of Trevor, Graham, Will, Ben, Harley and Dillon. Dear brother of Steve, Bower and Phyllis Hansen. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents John J. and Merriel Garland, sisters-in-law Marion and Dorothy Garland, and Dorothy Fee, brothers-in-law Bud Welch, Ame Hansen, Keith Paul, and Alan Fee. Friends may call at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road, Nepean (between Bayshore Dr. and Baseline Rd.) on Tuesday, April 17th, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, 67 Fowler Street, Richmond, Ontario on Wednesday, April 18th, 2007 at 11 a.m. Interment Munster Union Cemetery. William Lewis), Toronto; also survived by twelve grandchildren. Resting at the Cummings Funeral Home, North Gower, after 7 p.m. this evening. Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3 p.m. in St. John's Anglican Church, Richmond. Interment Munster Union Cemetery.

Stephen Garland Dies at 93
The death occurred on Wensday night at his home in Richmond, R. R. No. 1, of Stephen Garland, well known farmerof that district, who was 93 years of age. Mr. Garland, the son of John Garland and his wife, the former Mary Ann Wright, was born, educated, and farmed all his life in that district.

He was married in 1886 to Mary Ann Leach, who died in 1924. The survivers are one son, John of Richmond; a daughter, Mrs. Ann Laura Lewis, of Richmond, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral will be held on Sarurday afternoon, December 1, from his residence to St. Stephen's Anglican Church at two o'clock. Burial will be made in Munster Cemetery.

GARLAND At his home, Richmond, RR 1, Ont.. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 1945, Stephen Garland, husband of the late Mary Ann Leach, In his 94th year. Funeral from the residence on Saturday. Dec. 1. at 1.30 p.m. for service in St. Stephen's Anglican church at 2 p.m. Interment Munster cemetery.
