Kathleen Fraser passed after a short illness in Kingston on Feb 5th 2018. Kay as she was known will be missed by her son Norman Fraser, daughter Shari Fraser, sister Helen McNeely and grandson Michael Fraser. Predeceased by husbands Barry Fraser and Morris Workmen, granddaughter Sarah Fraser and daughter in-law Mickey Fraser. In keeping with Kay's wishes cremation has be entrusted to the JAMES REID CREMATORIUM .

Resting at the Fleming Brothers Funeral Home, Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place, from where funeral will be held on Sunday, November 20, to St Jmaes Church for service at 1.30 p.m. Interment in United Cemetery.

Woolsey, Margaret Erena
At her home, 118 Mary Street, Pembroke, on Thursday, March 26 in her 67th year, Margaret Erena Woolsey, daughter of the late William James and Isabella Ramsbottom, beloved wife of T. George Woolsey and by first marriage the late Arthur McNeely, Carleton Place, dear mother of Kay (Mrs Berry Fraser) of Gananoque and Mrs Helen Bedak of Ottawa, sister of William James of Perth and Robert James of Balderson. Rested at Malcolm and Deavitt Funeral Home, Pembroke until noon Saturday, thence to Fleming Bros, Funeral Home, Carleton Place. Service was held in St. James Anglican Church, Carleton Place, Monday, March 30, at 2 p.m. Interment United Cemetery.

Brice McNeely Passes In 94th Year
A resident of this district for nearly 94 years, Brice McNeely, died last Friday, following a lengthy illness. He was in his 94th year. Born in the Township of Beckwith, he was the son of the late James McNeely and his wife, Margaret Edwards. In 1889, he married the former Sarah Jane Gillan in Pakenham. His wife predeceased him 12 years ago. In his younger days Mr McNeely operated a dairy in Carleton Place and took up farming in Beckwith Township. He attended St James' Anglican Church ans was a member of the Orange Lodge and the Black Receptory. Surviving are three sons, Jim, of Beckwith; Frank of Carleton Place; Arthur on the homestead; one daughter, Mrs John (Mildred) Lynch of Ramsay and one sister, Mrs Elizabeth Ramsbottom of Conn., Ontario. Another son Brice, died in 1945. The funeral service was held on Sunday at 1.30 p.m. from the Fleming Bros Funeral Home to St James' Anglican Church with the Rev D.F. Weegar officiating. Interment was in Pine Grove cemetery. The pallbearers were: W.E. McNeely, George H. Doucett, Weland Gillan, Howard McNeely, John McNeely and Williard McNeely.

Brice married Sarah Jane Gillan in 1889. Sarah was born on 11 Nov 1860 in Fitzroy Township, Carleton County, Ontario, Canada; died on 12 Sep 1941 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in United Cemeteries, Beckwith Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
