    Mrs. A. C. Stevenson Dead: - The death occurred Tuesday morning of Mrs. A. C. Stevenson, a highly respected resident of the ninth line of Fitzroy. Mrs. Stevenson was the wife of Andrew Clements Stevenson, who predeceased her 25 years ago. She was 76 years of age and was a daughter of the late Samuel Lowry of Cedar Hill. Her maiden name was Elizabeth Glasford Lowry. She is survived by four children, (Aleta) Mrs. Wesley Grierson of Kinburn, Rev. Kenneth Stevenson of Truro, N.S., Lowry and Harvey of Kinburn, and 12 grandchildren; also one brother, Samuel Lowry of Pakenham. The funeral will be held from her late residence to Diamond Methodist Church at 2 p.m. today. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.

    Died:
    Mr. Samuel Lowry, an old and highly respected resident of Pakenham Township, died at his residence on the 12th April. He was born in County Down, Ireland in 1817 and was therefore 68 years old at the time of his death. He was an influential member of the Methodist Church and for many years led the singing for the denomination in his home church. He left a wife and large family to mourn his loss. His remains were interred in the cemetery at Cedar Hill, Carleton Place Herald
