Peacefully in hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Tuesday, January 18, 2000 with his family at his side. Robert (Bob) Alexander Cochran beloved husband of Jean Wood, Almonte, dear father of Margaret (Mrs. Lionel Storey), Nepean; Donald (Cathy) Cochran; Peter (Wenda) Cochran both of Almonte and Mary (Mrs. Keith Samson), Kinburn. Dear brother of Harvey (Doris) Cochran, Almonte,. Also survived by 4 grandchildren Alex, Adam, Angela and Andrew. Dear son of the late Wilbert Cochran and his wife the late Janie McArton. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin St., Almonte for visiting on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service was held in the Chapel on Friday at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiating. Spring interment at Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.

Peacefully at Fairview Manor, Almonte, Ontario on Monday, August 6, 2012 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Robert A. Cochran. Loving mother of Margaret (Lionel) Storey, Don (Cathy), Peter (Wenda) and Mary (Keith) Sampson. Cherished grandma to Alex, Adam (Brenda), Angela (Scott), Andrew and great-grandma to Natasha, Xander and Jack. Predeceased by brothers Bill and Ted and by a sister Reita. Friends may call at the Almonte Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte, on Wednesday, August 8th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 9th from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Auld Kirk Cemetery.

Janie (daughter of John McArton and Eliza Jane) was born on 21 Jan 1891 in Ramsay Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 13 Oct 1997 in Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in 1997 in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
