    - Eldon Fowler (born April 20, 1925) died peacefully at Surrey Memorial Hospital on April 1, 1997. He is survived by his loving wife Margaret; daughter Sandra and husband Terry; son Brent and wife Petra, grandchildren Tonya and Joel; stepgrandsons Cameron and Trevor; brothers Vincent and Chester; sister Audrey, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Lome and sister Donna. Eldon attended Chilliwack High and after graduating from UBC with a Master of Science (Agriculture) in 1949, he began his 35-year career with the City of Vancouver. He worked very closely with the Health and Engineering departments and primarily with the Police department, before retiring in 1984 as the City Analyst. Eldon will be sadly missed by his colleagues in the scientific community and by his friends and neighbours who shared his many interests.     Eldon married Margaret Hogg on 23 Oct 1948. Margaret (daughter of Errington James "Jim" Hogg and Emily Louisa Henrietta Simpson) was born on 26 Sep 1926 in New Westminster, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada; died on 20 Oct 2009 in Maple Ridge Cemetery, Maple Ridge, Greater Vancouver Regional District, British Columbia, Canada.
