    In hospital at Niagara Falls, Ont, on Monday, March 26, 1984, Eunice P. McDowall, beloved wife of the late Charles Henry Black. Dear mother of Mrs Eileen Austin of Niagara Falls. Predeceased by her son, Donald Charles Black. Survived by 6 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Grace (Mrs J.D. McCrae), Carleton Place; Margaret (Mrs J. Fortin) and John R. McDowall, both of Almonte. Predeceased by Viola (Mrs Peter Ferguson). Resting at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home, McArthur Ave, Carleton Place, on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m. Interment Auld Kirk Cemetery, Almonte.

    Eunice married Charles Henry Black in 1922. Charles (son of Robert Black and Phoebe Galbraith) was born on 16 Dec 1897 in Ramsay Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 14 Jan 1972 in Carleton Place, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried on 16 Jan 1972 in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
