GEORGE PARKER IS DEAD AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS George Herbert Parker, of 245 Thompson drive, superintendent of land settlement of the Canadian Colonization association, died Sunday at his homo following a brief Illness at the ago of 49. Mr. Parker had been a resident of Winnipeg for the paat 12 years. He was borr. at Moraen, Man. He was well - known in Winnipeg, being a popular member of ttte Peer Lodge Masonic society and Deer Lodge Curling club. He Is survived by his widow, Margaret N"llson Parker; two daughters. Relta and Kuth; two sons. Daniel and Herbert, all at home; his mother, Mrs. B. C Parker; one brother, B. C. Parker, KC, as well ss three sisters, Mrs. Waldie and Misses Emily and Kathleen, all of Winnipeg. The funeral service Is planned for 3 p.m. Wednesday at the A. B. Gardiner funeral home, with Rev. R. Fletcher Argue In charge. Interment will bo made In St John's cemetery.
