Mr. John Russell (Russ) Garland, of Wevburn, Sask., passed away on April 20, 1985, in the Weyburn Union Hospital, at the age of 71 years. Survived by his wife; Lillian, one son; John (Jean), Weyburn, four daughters: Connie (Lome). High Prairie, Alta., Sandra (Jim), Judy (Neil), and Penny, all of Weyburn, 14 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Predeceased by his parents; Howard and Annie Garland, one daughter; Laura, and one sister; Madge Evans. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 24, at 2:00 p.m., from the Chapel of the Weyburn Funeral Home, with Rev. Jack Wal-rath, officiating. Interment to take place in Green Acres Memorial Gardens. Flowers gratefully declined. Those who wish may make donations to the Diabetic Fund.
