At the Rosamond Memorial Hospital, Almonte, on Tuesday, May 10, 1949, Effie May Millar, beloved wife of the late Elbert L. Millar, aged 60 years. Funeral on Thursday, May 12, at 3 p.m., from her late residence, Cedar Hill, to the Auld Kirk Cemetery.

Effie married Elbert Leonard Millar in 1918. Elbert (son of Adam Cornelius Millar and Margaret Elizabeth Mick) was born on 9 Nov 1891 in Pakenham Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 20 Oct 1939 in Pakenham Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
