    My grandfather Moffatt's family immigrated from Scotland via Ireland on 1819 to Carleton Place Ontario in the Ottawa River valley. Grandpa was raised on a farm near Pilot Mound Manitoba and moved to Alberta during WW1 where he met and married my grandmother, Alberta. They lived in Champion where my Dad Eric and Aunt were born until 1934 when they moved to Lethbridge.
