Suddenly on Sunday June 6, 1976, Bessie Manahan, in her 83rd year. Beloved wife of the late Graydon W. Willoughby, dear mother of Mrs Ruth Brown. Dear sister of Mrs Nellie R. Armstrong. Loving grandmother of Gregory Brown. Friends may call at Hulse and Playfair, Central Chapel, 315 McLeod St., after 7 p.m. Monday. Service Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens.

Bessie married Graydon Wilfred Willoughby in 1919. Graydon (son of George Wellington Willoughby and Isabella Simpson) was born on 24 Feb 1885 in Almonte, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; died on 27 Sep 1974 in Ottawa, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Capital Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Ottawa, Ottawa Municipality, Ontario, Canada.
