Notes: In Blythe, supported the family by doing home nursing. When the family arrived in Winnipeg Elizabeth and the girls Isabel, Kate and Mary were able to support the family. They bought a large house and took in borders. Maggie stayed home to help her mother until she married. They bought several pieces of property and one Mary went to live in as a new bride and lived in until her death - the house Ruby shared with her. When only Aunt Kate was left at home with her parents, they moved into a smaller house owned jointly by Mary, Kate and Belle. From this house Aunt Kate and Ruby came to us (Isabel Stewart's childhood home).
