    The marriage of Sheila Corianne, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Mutch, of Ottawa, and Winnipeg, to Mr. William Montague Coffin, of Ottawa, son of Dr. and Mrs. J. D. Coffin, of Plaster Rock. N B., is taking place this afternoon, at half-past four o'clock, in Chalmers United Church, Ottawa, the Rev. R. Leonard Griffith officiating. Mr. William France will play the wedding music and Miss Evelyn Cuthbert will sing during the signing of the register. White gladioli and snapdragons. arranged with ferns will be used to decorate.
    The bride, who will be given away by her father will be in a gown of white corded silk, the fitted bodice having sleeves ending in points over her hands and the bouffant crinoline skirt fashioned; with side panniers. Her fingertip length veil of tulle illusion will be held by a matching headdress and she wll carry a semi-cascade bouquet of roses and freesia. Mrs. Reginald Barraclough, Montreal, as matron of honor, and Mrs. Robert coffin, of Ste. Anne de Bellevue and Miss Arlene Arnason, of London, Ont., as attendants, will be in frocks of peacock blue taffeta, with bodices having off-the-shoulder decolletes and long sleeves, and bouffant skirts fashioned with crinolines They will wear matching head dresses and will carry small muffs covered with American Beauty roses
    Mr. Robert Coffin will act as best man for his brother and the ushers will be Dr. Donald Gifford. Mr. Douglas Gifford, and Mr. Ted Grand, all of Ottawa.
    Mrs. Mutch, the bride's mother, will wear a frock of figured paper taffeta, trimmed in rose, a grey hat, trimmed with antique rose hyacinths, and a corsage bouquet of freesia.
    Mrs. Coffin mother of the bride-groom, will be gowned in navy; blue crepe, trimmed in taffeta, and' will wear a navy blue and white hat and accessories.
    The reception will be held in Chelsea Club, where spring fIow-jwl" era will be used as decorations later Mr. and Mrs. Coffin will leave for the Maritimes, the bride travelling in a frock of gold wool, under a navy blue wool gabardine coat, and wearing a navy blue hat and accessories.

    On Apr 8 at the residence of her son-in-law, James Brown, 47 Arthur St., Ottawa, Mary Crawford, wife of the the late Samuel Simpson, age 106 yrs. Oldest woman in Ottawa, formerly of Ashton. Born Co. Down, Ireland, came to Canada c.1814 to Goulbourn, husband helped build Rideau Canal, he died 42 yrs ago. Family of 10, lvs 2: Mrs. James Brown [Agnes Ann] and William Simpson of Goulbourn. Int. Ashton.

    SUDDEN DEATH ? An old and well known resident, Mr Graham Forgie, of Ramsay, and father of Messrs, Forgie bros, of Almonte and Ramsay, died at his son's residence on Wednesday morning last. The old gentleman ate his breakfast as usual and was left in the house all right by his son, who was only out of the house for a few moments and on returning found the father dead. This was the third paralytic stroke from which he had suffered.
