Suddenly in hospital at Carleton Place, on Sunday, March 16, 1980. Roberta Matilda Dowdall (of Almonte). In her 63rd year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Rodger and dear mother of Mrs Sandy Holbein (Marjorie) and Mrs Donald Love (Beverley) both of Arnprior. Predeceased by one brother, Ennis and one sister, Mrs Emily Churchill. Resting at the Gamble & Comba Funeral Home, 127 Church Street, Almonte, from 7 to 9 pm Monday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Tuesday, and where service will be held on Wednesday at 2 pm Spring interment Auld Kirk Cemetery.

Family/Spouse: Thomas McKay "Mac" Rodger. Thomas (son of James Miller "Jim" Rodger and Harriet "Hattie" McKay) was born in 1921; died on 28 Apr 1958 in Perth, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried on 30 Apr 1958 in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
