    Mrs. William G. Rintoul passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Hollinger, Ferguson's Falls on Thursday, August 13th. Mrs. Rintoul had never fully recovered from a broken hip injury in November, 1958. The deceased was 80 years of age. Born at Tatlock in Darling Township she was a daughter of the late George Gunn and his wife Jean Robertson. In September, 1903 at her home in Tatlock she was united in marriage to the late William G. Rintoul. To this union were born four sons and six daughters, Arnold, George, Alex, Dan and Jean M., Margaret (Mrs. Clifford McGee), Tena (Mrs. J. C. Hollinger), Mary (Mrs. Stewart Manarey), Isabel (Mrs. Hugh Wylie) and Laura who passed away as an infant. Also surviving to mourn her loss are six brothers and one sister, Alex of Arnprior, Dan of Almonte, Bert of Brantford, Ernie of Battleford, Sask., Stewart of Winchester, Grant of Clayton and Zelda (Mrs. James Ring) of White Lake. The late Mrs. Rintoul was a member of St. Peter's United Church, Tatlock and a staunch supporter of the WMS. A friend to all, she was a highly respected member of the community. The funeral service took place at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. C. Hollinger, on Monday, August 17th with Rev. W. Reid of Carleton Place officiating. Pallbearers were Grant Gunn Jack King, and grandsons Stephen Wylie, Earl Rintoul, Charles and John Hollinger. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Middleville. -(Lanark Era).
