    Funeral services for R. W. Drew, 76, who died at his home at 1136 Riverdale Ave. Tuesday, will be conducted by Canon W. H. H. Crump at 2 p.m. Friday in Christ Church. Burial will follow in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.
    Mr. Drew came to Calgary from Nelson, B.C., where he was a member of the city council. He was prominent in Calgary curling and golfing circles and was a member of the Renfrew Club and Christ Church.
    Prior to his retirement in 1939 he was division freight agent with the C.P.R. in Calgary.
    He is survived by a son, Richard Cecil in Toronto, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, in 1943, and a son Keith in 1949.

    Mrs. R. W. Drew Dies Suddenly
    Mrs. Richard W. Drew, 68, of 1136 Riverdale Ave., died suddenly of a heart attack while taking a walk in her neighbourhood Thursday afternoon. She was seized with a fainting spell and was seen by a friend, who hurried to her assistance. An ambulance was called, but Mrs. Drew was dead when it arrived.
    Mrs. Drew, who before her marriage was Margaret Miller, was born in Renfrew, Ont., in 1875. With her family she had lived in Calgary for 16 years. Mr. Drew was a divisional freight agent with the Canadian Pacific Railway, and retired in 1939 after 43 years service with the company. They had lived in Regina for about 14 years before coming to Calgary.
    During the last war, Mrs. Drew was an active member of the I.O.D.E. She was a life member of the Red Cross Society, and during this was gave much of her time to war work. With her family she attended Christ church and was a valued member of the Women's Auxiliary.
    Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Keith M., Calgary and Lt. Richard C. Drew, R.C.A.S.C., at Camp Borden, Lt. Drew will reach home Monday.
    Ven. Archdeacon Dudley F. Kemp will conduct funeral services at Christ church on Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family plot, Burnsland cemetery.
