Mrs. Prowd, Radiologist's Widow, Dead
Mrs. Nettie Florence Prowd, 1412 Balfour, widow of Dr. C. Wesley Prowd, died in St. Paul's Hospital Sunday night. , Mrs. Prowd had lived more than 40 years in Vancouver.
Dr. Prowd. outstanding radiologist and cancer specialist died last June. Dr. Prowd was twice president of 'the Canadian Radiological Society and was a pioneer physician of this city.
Mrs. Prowd was born in Winnipeg 63 years ago. daughter of W. S. Barry. In earlier days in Vancouver she was a noted horsewoman and appeared in many of the city's largest horse shows. She leaves two daughters, Pat, Vancouver newspaper woman and Barry of Los Angeles; sons, W.G. and A. A. Eccles both of this city.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the : Church of St. Peter and St. Paul with T. Edwards Co. in charge.
Interment will be in Ocean View Burial Park
