Obituary- Published in Times Colonist, Victoria BC Feb 4, 1957 Monday page 16--Durrell- In Victoria on Feb. 2, Ernest Durrell, age 78 years of 724 Yates St, a resident here since 1920. He leaves four sons, one serving with the RCAF, one in Victoria, one in Quesnel BC, one with RCAF, Comox; 2 daughters both of Victoria; 11 grandchildren; one brother in Quesnel; one sister in Pembroke Ontario. He was a member of Victoria Columbia lodge No 1 AF & AM. Funeral service will be held at McCall Bros' Floral Funeral Chapel on Wednesday Feb. 6, at 3 pm under Masonic auspices. Interment in Colwood Burial Park.
