    ?b?Mrs Scharf Passes Away?/b?
After hovering between life and death for the last couple of weeks, Mrs Nicholas Scharf passed away on Tuesday morning. She had been a patient sufferer for about a year past with an ailment which finally conquered all that medical skill and tender nursing could devise, and just with the awakening life of a new day, she went to sleep to awake in a much brighter and happier world where pain is unknown.
Deceased, whose maiden name was Mary Ann Stanley, was born in Huntley and lived her entire life in this vicinity. She was 57 years of age and is survived by her husband and a grown up family, as follows: Ephraim, Oswald, Hartley, Mrs William (Alma) Bond, Mrs Chester (Viotetta) Moses, Misses Lizzie and Bertha. The late Mrs Scharf, through her kindness and hospitality, had won the respect of a large circle of friends in the community who sympathize with the bereaved family in the loss they have sustained.
The funeral will leave her late residence at 10:30 this (Thursday) morning for the Methodist church, 3rd line Huntley, where service will conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.W. Humphery, and interment made in the adjoining cemetery.
