In 1850, Andrew, age 35, is married with 3 children and living in Montague Township. His father, Andrew and mother, Jane, are with them.
Andrew's wife in this early Census just shows Ruth, born in Quebec, however later family history records her as Ruth Hobbs. By 1860, Andrew has moved to Lot 20, Concession 16, Howick Township, Huron County, near Lekelet. By 1881 Ruth is a widow, so one might assume that Andrew died
about 1875.
