    ?/b?Leander (Lee) Forsythe passed away January 20, 2011 at age 71 He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lillian, his three children Wendy, Wayne (Elfriede), and Shelley (Shayne); six grandchildren Arrick, Seleighne, Hannah, Franziska, Tristan and Ethan; sisters Sylvianne Penner, Ruth (Gary) Ring and Jeame (Tim) White; Lillian's siblings Lois Horvath, George Long (Joanne), Janice Fisher (Earl), Myrna Bentz (Wilt), Everett Long (Jeame) and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was predeceased by his parents Em Gray (Claude), Harold Forsythe (Ida) and in-laws Earl and Gertrude Long.
    A family time of remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.

    Harold worked on the CPR in the mail car for many years. When he left his job the war was on (WWII) and he enlisted for the duration of the war. The family lived in Regina, SK. After the war he became a carpenter, and was well known for his cabinetry work. After his divorce from Em he married Ida Davies and they lived on Lindsay St. Regina, SK. When he retired they moved to Peachland, BC in the Okanogan. After his stroke he and Ida moved to Calgary, Alberta.

    Emerentianna: Em was the daughter of Eugene Materi & Margaret Ripplinger. Eugene was the first child born on the St. Joseph's Colony, near Balgonie, SK. Em farmed her own land until her last stroke in 1972. Later she and Claude sold their farms and retired. They enjoyed winters in the southern climes during the winter months for many years. She now resides in Regina, SK near her son Lee.
    Ida: Ida had two daughters: Ruth married Gary Ring. They live in Calgary, AB. Jean married Tim White, children: Mathew & Alice. They reside in London England.

Predeceased by her husband, Earle Enmon Long in 1986 after 48 years of marriage, she Is survived by two sons, Everett (Jeanie) Long of Langham, and George Long of Barrhead, Alberta; four daughters, Lillian (Lee) Forsythe of Regino, Myrna (Wilt) Bentz of Ravmore, Janice Fisher of Craven, and Lois Horvath of Wishart; twenty-three grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; three sisters Alma Iverson, Beatrice (Fred) Hughes, and Hattie Jasper; a sister-in-law Betty Beug, and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral will be held on Saturday, December 5 at 3:00 PM at Wishart Town Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be made the The Stone Church Fund, co Myrna Bentz, Box 272, Raymore, Sask., SOA 3J0.
