    W. E. Lech Spent Entire Life in Peterborough
    Peterborough, January 8.
    The death occurred suddenly here today of William Edward Lech, for many years engaged in the fur business here. Confined to bed only a few hours, he succumbed to a heart attack. He was 73 years old. Mr. Lech was born in Peterborough and spent his entire life here. When a young man he went into partnership in the fur business with the late K. G. Lech. In 1908 he opened a retail and manufacturing fur business of his own. Surviving are his widow and three sisters, Mrs. Paul Stoving of New York, Mrs. Fritz Gnaedinger of Valleyfield, Que., and Mrs. E. Walters of Westmount, Que. Keith G. Lech and Cyril K. Lech of Peterborough are nephews. Funeral service will be held here Friday afternoon.

    William married Susan Barnett on 17 Jun 1901 in Peterborough, Peterborough County, Ontario, Canada.
