Miss Judith lone Wolfe, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Robert Norton Wolfe of Cobbs Hill Drive, became the wife of Donald Arthur Mark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Mark of Canonsburg. The Rev. Stanley F. Guteliu received the vows in a setting of white' flowers and lighted tapers. Miss Catherine Louise Coulton was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Miss Barbara Ann Mullen of Evanston, 111., and Miss Gale Cressman Pett of Allentown, Pa. Carol Joyce Mark of Canonsburg, sister of the bridegroom, was junior bridesmaid. Alan Paul Mark served has tro;'..;r as best man. Ushers were Edward II. Mesta of Canonsburg and Alan David Wolfe, brother of the bride. Dennis Colusci of Canonsburg, cousin of the bridegropm, was junior usher. Mrs. Mark also was graduated from the Preparatory Department of the Eastman School of Music. She will teach English and social studies at Boynton Junior High School, Ithaca. The bridegroom also attended Bethany College where he was a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. In September he will become a graduate assistant in the State University School of Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell. ' ' '

Retired physicist Robert N. Wolfe, 79, a retired research physicist for Eastman Kodak Co., died of a heart attack at home Dec. 11. Mr. Wolfe was born in Falls City, Neb., and in 1930 graduated from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. From 1930-35 he attended the University of Rochester where he received his master's and doctorate degrees in physics. He was selected for membership in Sigma Xi, a national scientific honor society. Mr. Wolfe joined Kodak as a physicist in 1935 and worked in their research laboratory for 38 years. He retired as senior research associate in 1973. For 20 years Mr. Wolfe worked in the field of photographic sensi-tometry, improving the sensitivity of film, especially with the use of filters and more efficient light sources. Mr. Wolfe studied the way light is scattered by turbidity, as it is inside the light-sensitive coating on photographic film, and thereby distorting an otherwise crisp photograph. He also designed high-efficiency viewing screens for both front and rear slide and movie R.N. Wolfe dies projection. Mr. Wolfe was frequently called on by astronomers and scientists around the country involved with photographing and mapping the spectrum, to help solve problems that arose with their photographic systems. He also contributed many papers to scientific journals and was a fellow of the Optical Society of America. He is listed in American Men of Science and Who's Who in the East. In addition to his scientific career, Mr. Wolfe was socially active through work in his church and the community. He was a member for more than 50 years of the Downtown Presbyterian Church. He served as a deacon, elder and leader in their social action work. He was a founding member of the Friends of Fight, which became Metro-Act. Mr. Wolfe is survived by his wife, Ruth C. Wolfe; a son, Alan Wolfe; a daughter, Judith W. Mark; a brother, Laurence Wolfe, of Fairfield, Iowa; a sister, Elizabeth Seath, of Lexington, Ky.; and four grandchildren. Ben Loudon

Mr. James Coxford, of Blakeney, had been ailing for some time and a couple of weeks ago he went to an Ottawa hospital for treatment but nothing could be done for him, and he returned home last week. From that time he gradually sank until on Wednesday the end came. The deceased was born in London England, and came with his parents to Canada at Ottawa (then Bytown) and here the deceased served his apprenticeship at shoemaking. When a young man he came to Ramsay and spent a year with Robert Gomersall, a tanner, at Blakeney. He afterward opened a shoe shop a Snedden's Corner at the ninth line, about fifty years ago, and removed to Rosebank Messrs James and Thomas McCann. Of a family of eighteen children born to them sixteen are still living, two having died in infancy. John and David are in Rochester; Arch and James, in Vegerville, N.W.T.; Thos. in Carp; Wm. and Mrs. Fulton, in town (Almonte); Mrs M. Snedden, in Ottawa; Mrs. W. Barker, 8th line, Ramsay, and Mrs. Forsythe, Misses Jessie, Mary, Jean and Robt. Alf and Herb, at home. the funeral takes place today (Friday) at 12:30 o'clock to the eighth line cemetery.

After several weeks of illness following upon the death of her husband, which occured a couple of months ago, Mrs. Jas. Coxford, of Blakeney, passed away on Wednesday at her home in Blakeney, aged 66 (69) years. the deceased was a woman of a very quiet disposition, possessed of a warm heart and ever willing to do a good turn for fried or neighbour. The funeral takes place on Friday at 2 p.m. to the eighth line cemetery.
