Dear sister of Muriel Drummond, Warner (Ruth McDiarmid, Orville (Joyce) McDiarmid and Douglas (Shrley) McDiarmid. Predecdeased by a sister Vera Garvin and by brothers Gordon, Harold, Clifton, Ross, Leonard, Elmer and Willard. Friends may call at the Kerry Funneral Home, 61 Lake Avenue West, Carleton Place for visiting on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 12 noon until time of Funeral Service in the Kerry Chapel at 1 p.m. with Rev. Anne McKnight officiating. Spring interment United Cemeteries, Carleton Place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial dontions to the Ashton United Church would be appreciated.

Alva Edison Simpson, beloved husband of Mary Ann Simpson, and father of Mrs. Earl Graham (Mae), Stittsville, and Blair, of Ashton, age 69 years. Resting at Fleming Bros. Funeral Home, Lake Avenue W., Carleton Place, where funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 11, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment Dewars cemetery.

Mrs. Alva Simpson of Ashton, Ont., died recently at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl Graham of Goulborne. She was 78.
Daughter of the late Mr, and Mrs. James Simpson, the former Mary Ann Simpson married, in 1911, Alva Simpson who died in 1951.
She leaves, besides her daughter, a son, Blair of Ashton, ' a sister, Mrs. R. Dewar of Carleton Place and two grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Tuesday at the Fleming Brothers Funerai Home. Rev. James Hamilton officiated. Interment was in Dewar's Cemetery,
