In hospital, Almonte, Ontario on Wednesday, September 30, 1987, Alton Wilbert Matthews (Of Fairview Manor), in his 100th year, beloved husband of the late Eva Anna Robertson. Dear father of Rev Alan R. Matthews, Hamilton, Ontario; Ruth (Mrs Stuart McArton) Stirling, Ontario and Kathleen (Mrs Earl Lowe) King City, Ontario. Loving grandfather and great grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Cremation, Ottawa, Ontario. A Memorial Service was held at the Almonte Baptist Church, Reserve Street on Saturday, October 3, 1987 at 2 pm with Rev Blake Eady officiating. Flowers gratefully declined. Donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
