?b?Robert BROWN?/b? was born abt 1762, in Scotland. About 1795, he married Nancy YOUNG, (born Aug 19, 1775 in Newberry Co., SC). She was the daughter of James YOUNG and Mary THOMPSON of County Down, Ireland. They had at least one child, Mary (b. Jan 22, 1798, m. Robert RUSSELL 1819, SC, d. Aug 2, 1851, Smyrna, Coweta Co., GA). Robert BROWN died February 21, 1823 or 1826.

Robert married Nancy Ann Young in 1795. Nancy (daughter of Lieut. James Abraham Young and Mary Ann Thompson) was born on 19 Aug 1775 in Prosperity, Newberry County, South Carolina, United States; died on 26 Oct 1855 in Prosperity, Newberry County, South Carolina, United States; was buried in 1855 in Prosperity Cemetery, Prosperity, Newberry County, South Carolina, United States.
