Mrs Black has not been strong for some time, as the result of a cold which has apparently settled on her lungs, and was to all appearances gradually bringing her down to the grave. The deceased was well known and respected She was the third daughter of Mr James Wallace, of this town. The funeral took place on Tuesday, and was one of the largest ever seen in Ramsay, proving the general sympathy with the bereaved husband, as well as the respect for the family. Rev Messrs Bennet and McRitchie officiated.
