The Late Mrs Nicholson
Mrs Edward Nicholson, of Ramsay, whose death was announced in last week's Gazette, was a daughter of the late Geo Sutherland, with whom she emigrated from Scotland over seventy years ago. Mrs Gavin Russell and Mrs F. Crusoe, of this town, are daughters of the deceased lady. The funeral took place to the eighth line cemetery, and was largely attended.

Cecilia married Edward Nicholson in 1832. Edward was born on 2 Mar 1808 in Nunnington, Ryedale District, North Yorkshire, England; died on 12 Jun 1904 in Ramsay Township, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada; was buried in Auld Kirk Cemetery, Ramsay, Mississippi Mills, Lanark County, Ontario, Canada.
