Deceased came to Dominion City, Man. from Almonte, Ont. with his parents when he was 12 years old and resided there until 1917, when he went to Winnipeg.He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Chapman and Miss Bernice Hempton, and a son, Russell F. all of Regina, and a sister, Mrs. William Dixon of Calgary.

    Robert Hempton Sr., a pioneer resident of this district, died Sunday. He was born in Ireland 75 years ago. He came to Dominion City in 1880, taking up a homestead. He leaves to mourn his loss, a widow, two sons, Robert and W.J. Hempton, and one daughter, Mrs. William Dickson. The funeral was held on Monday from the Presbyterian Church, of which Mr. Hempton was a member.

    Rev. G. W. Faryon, Aged Clergyman, Died on Tuesday.
    One of the oldest clergymen in the province, Rev. George William Faryon, died Tuesday morning at Winnipeg General Hospital, in his 86th year. He resided at 617 Spence Street.
    Mr. Faryon was born in London, England July 27, 1851, where he received his early education. He was appointed inspector on the staff of the London school board and later attended Pastors' college at Newington where he received a religious training.
    In 1891 he came to Manitoba and was ordained a minister of the Presbyterian Church at Dominion City. In later years he held pastorates at Austin, Belmont, Elva and Little Britian. He retired from the active ministry in 1921 but remained a member of the Winnipeg presbytery of the Presbyterian Church of Canada and in 1925 of the United Church. He had been a resident of Winnipeg for the past 15 years and devoted a great deal of time visiting the sick in hospitals. He had enjoyed excellent health until recently.
    Mr. Faryon was twice married. His first wife died in Dominion City in 1903 and six years later he remarried his second wife surviving. There are also one son and two daughters by his first marriage, these being Herbert of Sutton, Saskatchewan; Mrs. Cuthbert Scott of Dominion City and Miss Dora Faryon of Winnipeg. A son George, of Neepawa died recently.
    The body is at the Thomson Funeral Chapel, pending completion of funeral arrangements.

    Mr. Wm. Scott, the well-known farmer of the 3rd line of Ramsay, died on Saturday last, from an attack of heart failure, and was buried in the cemetery at Boyd's Settlement on Monday, the funeral being largely attended. The late Mr. Scott was born in Ireland 78 years ago, and came to Canada in 1849 - forty-four years ago. He spent those forty-four years in Ramsay township. Mr. Scott was married three times, and had sixteen children, thirteen of whom survive, with fifty-three grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren, to mourn his loss.

    Six children were born. Two of these died of typhoid fever during the 6 weeks ocean crossing to Canada in 1846. One note says one was buried at sea and the other at Quebec.

    Another child James and the mother died also (believed to have been after arrival in Ramsay twp). Margaret, Robert & Eliza survived.
