    Obituary:?tab?Peacefully in hospital at Almonte, Ontario on Wednesday, December 18, 2002. Mary Muriel Thom in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late John Earl McDiarmid. Loving mother of Marjorie Campbell (late Doug) of Carleton Place and Catherine Thomas (Neil) of Ashton. Dear grandmother of Shirley Munro (David), Patsy Munroe (John), John Campbell (Karen), Lorrie Truscott (David), Janine McLeod (Kevin) and Brent Thomas. Great-grandmother of Allan and Spencer Munro, Dennis and Brigette Munroe, Amy and Joey Campbell, Sarah, Erin and Emily McLeod. Survived by her sister Margaret Thom of Almonte. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers, Florence, Ross, Earle, Wesley, Dorothy, Frank and infant sister Evelyn. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the chapel on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Reverend Blair Corcoran officiating. Interment Dewar Cemetery, Ashton. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated. The Ottawa Citizen, 20-12-2002
