    SIMPSON, Helen (nee Kettles) Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, on Friday December 26, 2008 at the age of 85. Loving wife of Bill for 58 years. Dear mother of Wendy (Gus Jonkman), of White Lake, Gary (Marilyn) and Kevin (Beverley) of Ashton. Proud grandmother of 8 grandchildren. Helen will be missed by her sisters-in-law Audrey Bullis and Dana Featherston, and several nieces and nephews.

    Friends may call at the Alan R. Barker Funeral Home & Chapel 19 McArthur Avenue, Carleton Place on Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Ashton United Church, Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in the spring at Munster Union Cemetery. For those who wish, a donation to Ashton United Church or the Carleton Place Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
