He is survived by his loving wife Margaret; daughter Sandra and husband Terry; son Brent and wife Petra, grandchildren Tonya and Joel; stepgrandsons Cameron and Trevor; brothers Vincent and Chester; sister Audrey, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Lome and sister Donna. Eldon attended Chilliwack High and after graduating from UBC with a Master of Science (Agriculture) in 1949, he began his 35-year career with the City of Vancouver. He worked very closely with the Health and Engineering departments and primarily with the Police department, before retiring in 1984 as the City Analyst. Eldon will be sadly missed by his colleagues in the scientific community and by his friends and neighbours who shared his many interests. Loving husband of Marion (nee Sadler) for 60 years. Proud father of Murray (Patricia), Ron, Clarke (Dawn), and Keith (Martina) as well as Grandpa of Samantha (Jarred), Eric, Tait, Jennifer, Jack, Ashton, Spencer, Savannah, Trinity, Connor, Callum, Heidi, Chris and Brady. Dear brother of Beth Keating (Brian) and special brother-in-law of Helen and Art Levi, Andy Sadler, Marilyn Snedden and Margaret Sadler (late Russell). Predeceased by his parents Alex and Leila (nee Campbell); his brother Earle and sister Kay Hudson (late Graham). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Sandy was a dairy farmer all his life and was the Secretary-Treasurer of the Lanark County Holstein club; long-time 4-H leader and an accomplished Holstein breeder, judge and showman. He was an athlete all his life. He loved cards, square dancing and took up golf and curling, once he figured out it wasn't a waste of time. He was a strong supporter of St. Andrews United Church in Pakenham and was never one to lack an opinion. His clarity of thought was refreshing. Mr. Forgie, who was in his 80th year, had been In ill health for some time. Mr. Forgie was born In Ramsay township and faamed in that district for many years before coming to Ottawa. He worshipped at Parkdale United church and prior to his Illness, took a keen and active interest In congregational affairs. He is survived by his widow, the former Mary Campbell; two sons, G. B. At Bureau, Dies ?/b?Robert Henry Ingram, superintendent of printing at the Government Printing Bureau, where he had been employed for the last 32 years, died at his residence, 255 Daly avenue, yesterday. He was in his 63rd year, and the father of Dean Ingram, long prominent in Ottawa baseball circles. The : body is resting at the parlors of Hulse and Playfair Limited, 315 McLeod street, where the funeral will take place on Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock to All Saints' Anglican church where Rev. R. G. Fiander will conduct the service. Interment will be in Beechwood cemetery. Mr. Ingram, who had been ill for about four months, was one of the most prominent members of All Saints' Anglican church, where he was former treasurer of the Sunday school, and president of the Young People's Association. He was also active in the work of Ashlar Lodge, A.F. and A.M., of which he was a past master. Before accepting a position on the staff of the Printing Bureau, he was employed with the old Canada Atlantic and Grand Trunk Railway lines. He had resided all his life In the Capital, and was a son of the late Robert Ingram and Mary "Ann Mills. He was popular In sporting circles here and took a special interest in the New Edinburgh Rugby and Canoe clubs. Samuel married Levi's daughter, Rebecca, about 1805 and they had four children. She died in 1824. This cemetery has been described as a small family cemetery so she may also be buried here. However, Samuel's gravestone is the only one remaining. After Rebeccca's death, Samuel married Mary Hunt, daughter of Rev. Stephen Hunt. On February 3, 2019, at 93 years old, Doreen peacefully passed away while surrounded by family. She was predeceased in April, 2017 by her husband of 70 Years, Russell. Doreen's heart was most full when she had family near. She loved, guided, mentored, and cherished her children: Kerry (Linda), Boyne (Marilyn), Suzanne (John), and Lori (Roy). She was a nurturing Oma to Shannon Maker (Mike), Logan Saunders Matte, and Kayla Saunders Sikkema (Ben) and a caring Great-Oma to Charlotte, Amelie, Sienna, August, and Kase. Doreen is survived by her sister Ann Bourgoin, predeceased by her parents Milton and Elizabeth "Betty" More of Almonte and siblings: infant sister Doris, and brothers Logan (Jean), John (Ruth), Laurie and Bertram (Bernice). She was sister-in-law to Arnold (Winnie), the late Albert, Lucille, Joy, Richard, Merwin, Shirley, and Calvin. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews for her fun nature and love of life. For 17 years Doreen worked at the federal government. However, she found her true passion and meaning through years of leadership with children and young adults in various roles in Christian education over many decades and especially at Camp Bitobi and Gracefield Presbyterian Camp. Doreen was a chartered member and elder of St. Timothy's Presbyterian Church and then a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church. Born in Dominion City, Manitoba on March 29th, 1921, his family moved to the Lower Mainland when he was a small boy. He served in the Canadian Navy during WWII as a communications officer. After the war Murray worked at Standard Furniture in Victoria. His later business ventures included Greggs Furniture Factory and Greggs Marine Interiors. He is loved and remembered by his sons Bob (Celia), Jim (Carol Ann), daughter Sharon, and grandchildren Lauren, Kristen, Emily, and Robson plus his stepchildren Rob (Margo), Leslie (Merek), Chris and step-granddaughter Alaina. Moved to Canada in 1967 and before his 1990 retire ment was Recreation Director for Hope and District for 18 years. In his youth Dan was a competi tive soccer player and swimmer, in b.i;. ne became a highly respected summer swim coach and official. The Hope Otters Summer Swim Club began in 1969 and for over 20 years hundreds of youngsters benefitted from Dan's teaching, discipline and philosophy - his wisdom and love for "his kids" will never be forgotten. He couldn't skate but hockey became another of his intense interests and he could share the love of the game with his beloved sons. He graduated from the University of Saskatchewan in 1955 (Geology). Don played basketball with the Huskies during his time at U of S, which led to a life-long love of the sport. Don enjoyed life to the fullest. Time with friends and neighbours, coaching Triwood girls Softball, holiday travels, and family gatherings were always full of fun and laughter, providing so many lasting memories of a wonderful, kind man. He was always quick with a story or joke, and loved sports and games. He was an avid golfer and curler, and loved playing pool and cards with his friends, often at the Legion. His years in the oilfield, and involvement in various business ventures made for an interesting and fulfilling life. Don was a wonderful husband to Dorothy, father to Katherine, Maureen (Stephen), and Laurie (Todd); grandfather to Jessica (Dave), Meagan (Steve), Abby (Kyle), Trevor (Annie); and great-grandfather to four little ones, Mack, Elsie, Eddie, and Ivy, who lovingly called him GG. Gloria was born in Edmonton January 3, 1942 and spent many years in the real estate industry in both Alberta and B.C. Followed by the experience of operating a small apply orchard in Cawston, B.C. that gave her much enjoyment before retiring to Kelowna.
